Paul Scriven campaigning for the people of Sheffield Central

Paul has a solid track record of working for local people. For over 10 years Paul has been involved in working to ensure local people get a fair deal.

His keen to campaign and work to ensure that local people are not blighted by anti-social behaviour. He wants to work with local communities to work for opportunity for all.

On a national level, Paul has been involved in working to ensure that the environment is protected and working for Green taxes so that those who pollute more pay more.

He had also worked to ensure that local older people have the right to dignity and financial security. He wants a better pension system.

Paul has been at the forefront of campaigning against Labour's local Post Office Closures. He has worked with local people across Sheffield Central to try and keep local post offices open.

Paul believes that entry to Higher education should be based on ability not affordability. He has campaigned with local students and young people against Top-up fees. As a Liberal Democrat he wants to see the abolition of Labours Tuition and Top-up fees.

Paul has made a stance against the war in Iraq, by supporting local organisations and marches against the war.
